Ribbon Cuttings
When you join the chamber of commerce, we want to help you spread
the word. Your own ribbon cutting provides a great way to do just
that. Attended by chamber officers and members alike, a ribbon
cutting is a great way to get people through your door for the
first time.

Golf Tournaments
You'll want to be part of this year's golf tournaments. You'll
play holes with community leaders and business owners alike. It's

Pumpkin Run
"Jordan Valley Medical Center involvement with the South
West Valley Chamber has been a very positive experience. We
have a strong commitment to our community and the relationships
we have developed through the chamber has help us to not only
meet the needs of our community but to become a partner with business
and community. We appreciate the efforts of the chamber
and the opportunity to be a part of the organization."

Knight of Heroes Award
We held our first Knight of Heroes Award Banquet. Unified Fire, Bluffdale Fire, Salt Lake County Sheriff and the Chamber awards those in our community and business leaders for going above and beyond.
Pumpkin Run
The Chamber, Riverton City and Herriman City work together each October to hold a community 5 mile Pumpkin Run. This is a great event and is in conjunction with Herriman City's Pumpkin Festival. This event provides an opportunity for businesses to be involved in and market to the community through sponsorship.

Christmas Social & Food Drive
We held our Christmas Social and Utah Food Bank drive on December 13. The Riverton High Silver String Orchestra entertained and we collected over 300 food items and $400 cash. Jiffy Lube in Herriman matched the donations and thanks to the generosity of our members the Utah Food Bank received over $900 from this event. |
