You Can Never Have Too Many Friends!
Believe it or not, I have only lived in Riverton
and in Utah for 3 years! I started working at Daybreak for
Kennecott Land in July of 2004 and have been participating in
activities with the Southwest Valley Chamber since fall of 2005.
What a nice bunch of people. Brook Bernier urged me to join
and become involved, and while I can't always make it to as many
meetings as I might like, I always see a friendly face.
Brook was right when she told me that the Chamber
was the best way to get to make friends and be an informed member
of the community. Topics at the meetings cover a wide range:
from Customer Service, to new Highways and Transportation.
Membership gives you a chance to meet and interact with local
government officials in a casual setting. One of my favorite
meetings is the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. As a former
teacher, I enjoy meeting the most outstanding professionals in
the area and supporting them with a little gift!
Thanks Brook for urging me to join!
